Backcountry Nitro is an organic cold-brew coffee infused with superfoods…in a can! Beyond the magnificent taste, our coffee kick starts your adventure with a boost of antioxidants while the nitrogen makes it outrageously smooth. No need for dairy or sugar. Our special superfood concoction and our brand’s cheeky personality separate us from our competitors. Gone are the days when your only choices are loaded with ingredients you can’t pronounce. Our brew has three perfect ingredients: coffee, goji berries, and cacao nibs. We left out the B.S. Finally, a healthy and delicious ready-to-drink option that will give you that final push to the summit!

Alyssa Evans and Jenny Verrochi, Backcountry Nitro

Alyssa Evans and Jenny Verrochi are the lady bosses behind this new coffee brand.

Female-owned and operated, we’re a team of lady Boulderites that craved a healthy beverage to fit our rambunctious, coffee-loving lifestyle.

I have been slinging coffee in New England since ‘97 with my family business, Red Barn Coffee Roasters. Shortly after moving west, I combined my coffee knowledge with my love for the outdoors. I spent years perfecting the recipe and brining the concept to life, all she sought was the perfect partner in sass. Queue: Alyssa Evans, branding and packaging genius. With our powers combined, we’ve birthed one hell of a saucy and adventurous coffee brand.

Backers of a Kickstarter that ends on Dec. 27 will be some of the first to get a taste.

Do you have a new product or company you want to pitch? Here's how to do it.
