| Industry leaders sticking their necks out for Kerry in Portland
Sep 13, 2004 A lot can happen in a week. Sep 9, 2004 There's life in them thar' show aisles -- lifestyle apparel, that is. Seems like just about every apparel maker at Summer Market wants a piece of what Horny Toad, Prana and Patagonia have been selling for a while -- what to wear when the climb, hike, bike ride or kayak trip is done. (Oh, and if it can also do some of those things as well, that's a good thing, too.) Biggies like Sierra Designs and Marmot are entering the fray with lifestyle lines that cross from the road to the trail and back. Read Story | Comment on this story | Go to all Outdoor Headlines |
