Timex® Expands Popular Expedition® WS4™ Collection

Timex today unveiled two new additions to the highly successful Timex® Expedition® WS4™ collection. The innovative watch and adventure instrument will now be available in XL Elastic Strap and Carabiner styles.

MIDDLEBURY, CT – Timex, a leader in outdoor and sports performance timepieces, today unveiled two new additions to the highly successful Timex® Expedition® WS4™ collection. The innovative watch and adventure instrument, renowned for its revolutionary widescreen dashboard and fresh approach to outdoor intelligence, will now be available in XL Elastic Strap and Carabiner styles.

The Timex Expedition WS4 with XL Elastic Strap can be worn on the wrist as well as over performance gear, and will also come with a lanyard to wear around the neck. The Timex Expedition WS4 Carabiner can be clipped onto backpacks, belt loops or anyplace else for convenient use.

The WS4 watch includes an altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass, expertly encased in a widescreen dashboard for precise, convenient intelligence at a glance. Rugged, intuitive and boldly stylish, the WS4 watch is designed to perform under the most extreme conditions and help navigate any terrain. It also serves as a versatile timepiece, chronograph, alarm and timer.

The WS4 technology is sealed in a lightweight composite casing, and fortified with a stainless steel bezel for the ideal combination of mass and durability. The WS4 is available in six traditional styles, including combinations of black, orange, yellow, blue and white. The XL Elastic Strap and Carabiner styles will be available in black with orange accents, and black with green accents, respectively.

The Timex Expedition WS4 is available for purchase internationally and at sports specialty retailers, as well as TimexExpedition.com. The Timex Expedition WS4 with XL Elastic Strap will be available in September 2009. The Timex Expedition WS4 Carabiner will be available in February 2010.
