Juanita will also be supplying images and information from her trip to the Sierra Designs Facebook page so fans can keep up with her adventures and get a first hand look at the beautiful Welsh countryside.
After a week of testing in Wales’ Snowdonia National Park, here’s what Backpacker had to say about the Lightning XT 4:
“In a rain- and hail-blasted camp high on the Glyders – a sharply rising 3,000-foot range in Snowdonia National Park – with 40-mph gusts that knocked testers off their feet, seven staffers sat comfortably in the (Sierra Designs) Lightning, playing cards and toasting the creation of an all-new tent category: ultralight and ultra-large”
A land of historic castles (641 at last count), green pastures, and endless coastline, Wales is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream come true with abundant opportunities for hiking, biking, trekking, climbing, camping, caving, and that uniquely Welsh adventure, coasteering.
Drawing the attention of anyone with a passion for travel and a thirst for adventure, the Wales Adventure Sweepstakes drew over 15,000 entries over the course of five months. Our grand prize winner was drawn and notified in late September, 2009.
