Salomon USA Appoints New Winter Sports Equipment Sales Director

Erik Anderson brings years of industry experience in go-to-market strategies and sell-through, retail buying and wholesale management systems

Salomon, the leader in technical design and innovation in mountain sports has appointed Erik Anderson as Sales Director for Salomon USA Winter Sports Equipment to oversee alpine and Nordic ski equipment categories.

Anderson will be responsible for all aspects of the annual winter sports equipment selling cycle as well as provide overall management and direction for its network of sales representatives and key accounts. He will also work closely with the Salomon product marketing and brand management teams. Anderson most recently was VP Alpine Division, Fischer Skis US and had also worked for the American Skiing Company where he was General Merchandise Manager. In 2000 he earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine.

Anderson will relocate to the Ogden, Utah area and start at Salomon USA May 31, 2012.
