October 5, 2010 – Chico, California – Overland Equipment, manufacturer of bags that provide well-organized solutions for active, everyday use, is pleased to announce it has named Tony Klisura to the newly formed position of National Sales Manager.

"We are excited to welcome Tony to Overland Equipment in the role of National Sales Manager,” said Julie Skirving, General Manager of Overland Equipment. “We know that his sales leadership combined with the brand's positive momentum will equal a really positive step forward for Overland Equipment. In addition, Tony's strong relationships in the industry and many successes in the footwear industry will be a tremendous asset to our team."

Before joining Overland Equipment, Klisura served as National Sales Manager at Simple Shoes, a division of Deckers Outdoor, where he was instrumental in the re-launch and growth of the brand. Over the past 20 years, Tony's experience has spanned retail, wholesale, and e-commerce in sales and management capacities including significant experience in the outdoor specialty and lifestyle channels. Tony has represented such brands as Birkenstock and worked in e-commerce at Zappos.com in the early stages of their business.

The appointment of Klisura to National Sales Manager comes at a significant time in Overland Equipment's growth and history. Next year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the brand. In celebration of this milestone, Overland Equipment is offering a special edition, exclusive print and giving back to the Chico community by supporting Bee Friendly Farming initiatives.
