Osprey Packs, Inc., an independent pack company located in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, is proud to announce that the Talon 33, Aether 85 and Ariel 75 are named “Best All-Around” in Backpacker's Gear Guide.

The Talon 33, named Best All-Around Daypack, is designed for the fast, adventure-oriented enthusiast. Boasting an AirScape backpanel with ridge molded foam and air channels, the Talon offers a unique melding of torso adjustability in an active, lightweight pack. Features include a fixed top pocket, front and side stretch woven pockets, side compression straps, mesh covered perforated hipbelt with zippered stretch mesh pockets, mesh covered perforated harness straps with stretch goo pockets, dual ice ax loops with bungee tool tie-offs, and easy access exterior hydration compartment. The Talon 33 offers 2000 cubic inches of space and weighs in at 2 pounds. Available in Moonlight Blue, Spicy Chili and Acid Green. $129 retail.

Chosen Best All-Around Weeklong Pack, Aether 85/ Ariel 75 are packed with well thought out features that make backcountry travel easy. In addition to the AirScape suspension system, the Aether 85 also features a welded, stretch-woven front pocket, dual-entry stretch-woven side pockets and an externally accessible sleeping bag compartment. A sleek, new internal hydration sleeve with dual exit ports allow for easy access and control of your hydration and the 420d Nylon pack cloth will protect your gear throughout the life of the pack. The Aether 85 offers 5200 cubic inches of gear space and weighs in at 4 pounds, 14 ounces. Available in Bluestone, Emerald and Sunburst. $279 retail.

The Ariel 75 has all of the features and design of the Aether, specially fitted for women. The best-fitting line of women's packs on the market, Osprey has spent countless hours refining the design of the IsoForm Women's harness to provide the most comfortable fit possible. The Ariel line also features the Women's IsoForm CM hipbelt. The Ariel 75 offers 4600 cubic inches of packing space and weighs in at 4 pounds, 12 ounces. Available in Havasu Blue and Guava. $269 retail.
