SEATTLE, WA (July 21, 2015) — Therm-a-Rest®, the leader in premium outdoor camping comfort, today announced its all-new NeoAir® Camper™ SV: the most comfortable and stable NeoAir mattress providing campers with superhero-fast inflation and deflation in a three-season package.
“The NeoAir Camper SV inflates in a flash, saving campers time, energy and most importantly, their hard-earned breath,” said Brandon Bowers, category director, mattresses, Therm-a-Rest. “Best of all, the 3-inch mattress comes with the comfort and quality people expect from Therm-a-Rest.”
Therm-a-Rest’s patent-pending Speed Valve inflates three times faster than traditional valves in similarly sized mattresses, using less than 10 breaths, while deflation is almost instantaneous. The Speed Valve employs the Bernoulli Principal for its rapid inflation; the air blown into the mattress entraps surrounding air, dragging it into the mattress along with your original breath, thereby amplifying your effort and inflating the mattress more quickly.
The raised side rails and three-inch thick design keep restless sleepers firmly and comfortably on their mattress throughout the night. The mattress uses WaveCore™ construction with a layer of ThermaCapture™ reflective technology for the ultimate combination of low-bulk stability, warmth and affordability.
The NeoAir Camper SV debuts in August 2015 at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah. It will join the Therm-a-Rest mattress family online and in retail stores in January 2016. The NeoAir Camper SV is made in the U.S. of U.S. and imported parts.
