Seattle, U.S.A. - Cascade Designs, Inc., the Seattle-based industry leader in the design and manufacture of premier outdoor equipment, is proud to announce that the company’s MSR DragonTail tent has been honored with a Product of the Year Award from Sweden’s premier outdoor adventure magazine, Ute Magasinet. The tent was recognized for its thoughtful design, light weight and four-season durability.

Only six products were chosen for the Product of the Year Award, based on editors’ field testing and feedback from the magazine’s outdoor education programs. Specific categories are not used as criteria for the winners; they are simply chosen as the best of all the outdoor equipment and apparel tested through the year.

Ute Magasinet Editors called the DragonTail “a dream tent for anyone who values light weight” and applauded it for its strength and ability to “withstand very strong winds.”

The lightest expedition tent under the MSR brand, the single-wall DragonTail tent features innovative flow-through vents at either end keep condensation to a minimum. A unique and proven hooped design stands strong in high winds and heavy snow while providing an impressive amount of room both inside and in the front vestibule.

The MSR DragonTail tent is available in stores now.
