This summer, Granite Gear will release their Minnesota Made Collection of bags to be manufactured and hand-sewn at the company’s Two Harbor, MN headquarters. Crafted with the urban hiker and weekend adventurer in mind, the highly-anticipated Minnesota Made Collection includes three backpacks and two duffels.

Sewing dependable gear for the US Military for almost a decade, Granite Gear’s Minnesota production team is known for providing the highest quality craftsmanship, which results in exceptional quality gear. The design team used the Superior Hiking Trail and Midwest cities like Duluth and Chicago as inspiration and, as a result, achieved versatile carrys with a touch of heritage style for those who hit the trail, subway or gym after work.

The three Minnesota Made backpacks are each available in two color ways. The smallest of the group is the Daywalker, with a capacity of 17L. Made of 210D Nylon Cordura fabric, 500D Nylon Cordura fabric in high abrasion areas, the Daywalker has an organizer sleeve for tablets and small laptops. The Clipper, also made of 210D and 500D Nylon Cordura, has an 18L capacity and with an organizer sleeve for tablets and small laptops. The Crux is the largest backpack in the collection with 1 large compartment and a top zippered pocket. It has an 18L capacity and is made fully of 500D Nylon Cordura fabric with daisy chain loops for external attachment. MSRPs: Daywalker is $99.99, Clipper is $119.99 and Crux is $129.99.

The Minnesota Made Tube Duffels are made of 500D Nylon Cordura fabric, and have carry handles that double as adjustable backpack straps. Available in two color ways and two sizes, the 18” Tube Duffel has a 19L capacity and the 24” duffel has a 43L capacity. MSRPs: 18” Tube Duffel is $79.99 and 24” Tube Duffel is $89.99.
