Gobi Gear www.GobiGear.com, the functional adventure gear brand bringing organization to adventure, today debuts the Free Spirit Backpack on Indiegogo. The first adventure-ready, pocket-able daypack with Gobi Gear’s unique segmented packing technology, the Free Spirit is available on Indiegogo through September 15, 2017. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-perfect-adventure-ready-backpack-free-spirit-travel-adventure

Expanding the brands mission to organize adventure through innovation, Gobi Gear’s new Free Spirit Backpack ($78 / 30L) is a comfortable and functional, pocket-able travel pack that features segmented internal compartments designed to make packing and finding gear effortless. Two bonus interior sections make packing and locating gear effortless and fold out of the way when not in use. Supportive and lightweight, at less than a pound, this daypack is ideal for the trail and travel. The pack features comfortable shoulder straps, a wide waistband, lower back support pads, and an integrated stow pocket for compact storage and easy transport.

“Our segmented packing technology, until now available only in stuff sacks and shoulder bags, has been so well received as fulfilling a need in the adventure and travel markets,” said Gobi Gear Founder Chezzie Brungraber. “We’re thrilled to expand Gobi Gear’s offerings with the addition of the Free Spirit backpack, allowing even more users to pack quickly and efficiently and spend more time enjoying the experience.”

Comfortable, compact and packable, the feature-loaded Free Spirit is the first truly adventure-ready daypack to hit the market. Gobi Gear’s full line of packing options for trail, travel and every day includes the Free Spirit Backpack, Organized Tote Bag, SegSac Original, SegSac Traveler and SegSac Compress.

Founded by Chezzie Brungraber, an outdoor adventurist who was tired of the chaos in her backpack, Gobi Gear was born just before her first trip to Nepal. In her search for organizational freedom, Brungraber realized that one¬-compartment options led to lengthy searches for items and time wasted packing and repacking. She wanted organization, accessibility, and the ability to compress all the items. Gobi Gear designed its first prototype of a segmented stuff sack with the sole purpose of making adventure more convenient, and has since expanded into backpacks, shoulder bags, totes and stuff sacks.

About Gobi Gear

Gobi Gear is a functional adventure gear brand dedicated to making travel and outdoor pursuits more efficient. Founded by an outdoor adventurist who was tired of the chaos in her backpack, the brand was born just before her first trip to Nepal. She wanted organization and the ability to compress all of her essential gear just like she would a sleeping bag. Two months later, Gobi Gear designed its first prototype of an organization stuff sack with the sole purpose of making adventure more convenient. Adventure is now organized thanks to Gobi Gear.
