Cloudveil Opens Flagship Store in Jackson Hole

Cloudveil, producer of innovative technical apparel, is proud to announce the opening of the first Cloudveil Store on March 21.

(Jackson Hole, Wyo.) - Cloudveil, producer of innovative technical apparel, is proud to announce the opening of the first Cloudveil Store. On the first day of spring, March 21st, Cloudveil will celebrate the opening of its flagship store in downtown Jackson, Wyoming. The 2400 square-foot retail space will showcase Cloudveil's complete product range in a contemporary “western industrial” design.

“The flagship store is a tribute to our Jackson heritage and will serve as ground zero in terms of what we do - authentic functional design in the heart of the community that inspires us,” says Cloudveil Co-Founder/VP Stephen Sullivan. “Jackson Hole and the Tetons have been one of the company's primary assets from the start, so it makes sense to showcase our complete offering here.” The flagship store will also serve as a product test market and a venue for feedback from the Jackson community.

The store features custom fixturing, extensive use of recycled barnwood and cold rolled steel elements and was a design collaboration of Sullivan, Seattle-based Utility, Inc., and Jackson-based Two Ocean Builders. A distinctive feature is the “The Vault”: an old bank vault converted into a multi-media center with a treasure trove of outdoor and coffee table books and magazines, large flat screen TV, a community board, internet kiosks and a couch for lounging. The store was designed with the Jackson community in mind, to serve as a gathering spot for everything from non-profit events to checking out the latest TGR film to catching a slideshow on Stephen Koch's latest new line on the Grand. Sullivan continues, “Our primary goal is to be a very interactive member of the mountain community.”

The Cloudveil Jackson flagship store has signed on as a “1% for the Tetons” member, pledging to donate one percent of its revenue back to long-term sustainability of the natural resources of the Jackson/Teton area.

“Our Jackson store is phase one of a long-term brick and mortar retail strategy that will ultimately extend the strength of the Cloudveil brand, benefiting our specialty retailers and all of our customers. We are excited to finally have a venue to showcase our unique brand,” says Sullivan.
