Celebrating 25th Anniversary, Manzella Gives Back with Sponsorships

In recognition of 25 years of business, Manzella is announcing its most extensive sponsorship roster to date.

In recognition of 25 years of business, Manzella is announcing its most extensive sponsorship roster to date. The company will sponsor Outdoor Industry Women's Coalition's (OIWC) Backcountry Betties Clinics; Winter Feels Good, a grassroots public awareness campaign; the PSIA Eastern Division; the telemark athletes and stars of Tough Guy Production films; and Babes of Prey, a women's synchronized ski team. In addition Manzella is the official glove supplier of the USA Shooting Team.

Manzella is one of two sponsors funding (OIWC) free clinics at the On Snow Demo in Brighton. The “Backcountry Betties” clinics, developed specifically for women, will focus on telemarking, backcountry snowshoeing and classical and skate skiing. The company is also lending its support to “Winter Feels Good” a grassroots public awareness campaign that promotes the health, fitness and social benefits of snow sports. Organized by SnowSports Industries America (SIA), the campaign encourages winter outdoor activity among family and friends by partnering with professionals in education, government, health and community organizations who also champion regular physical activity as a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Manzella will also serve as the supplier of educational staff gloves for members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America - Eastern Division (PSIA-E), including the examiners and examiner training squad of PSIA-E alpine, AASI snowboard, PSIA-E Nordic, and PSIA-E adaptive. In addition, Manzella will serve as the official glove sponsor to Tough Guy Productions, a world renowned video producer and promoter of telemark skiing and endurance mountain bike racing. A fifth sponsorship commitment involves providing gloves to the Babes of Prey, a premiere women's alpine demo team based in Beaver Creek, Colorado. This synchronized ski team encourages women to find camaraderie through skiing.

Finally, complementing their involvement in snowsports, Manzella will give back to another of their important markets by serving as the official glove supplier of the USA Shooting team.
