Portland, OR (May 20, 2019) —Born in South Korea, with a premium line headquartered and designed in Europe, BLACKYAK has recruited industry veteran Jim Angeles for North American sales representation in the Rocky Mountains.
Bolstering the sales effort in this critical mountain region, Denver-based Angeles will be responsible for servicing Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming for the brand.
“BLACKYAK is stoked to have Jim join our family,” said BLACKYAK North American Sales Manager,” Jeff Krahenbuhl. “Jim knows what it takes to build a brand from the ground up. He can genuinely speak to a CEO or to a shop kid about BLACKYAK’s premium technical apparel. His experience, relationships, and deep roots in the Rockies will undoubtedly help BLACKYAK to accelerate its growth with our specialty retail partners. We couldn’t be happier to have him on our team.”
“I’m extremely excited and honored to be joining the BLACKYAK North American sales team,” said Angeles. “BLACKYAK has been producing some of the most exceptionally well-designed and functional apparel for the outdoor market for many years. The brand is well known and respected across the rest of the world for their innovative high-quality products. I am really looking forward to introducing the brand to the Rockies and realizing the incredible potential awaiting BLACKYAK.”
