FLINT, Mich (Sept. 2, 2020)– Article One, the independent eyewear brand based in Flint, Mich., today announces the Sept. 3 launch of the GTGlass collection in collaboration with running brand Ciele Athletics™. In homage from one style-driven brand to another, the AO X Ciele GTGlass is inspired by retro sport aesthetics and merges Article One’s timeless Italian craftsmanship and functionality with Ciele’s sport-driven aesthetics and performance.

The new AO X Ciele GTGlass (MSRP $275 USD/$345 CAD) is made in Italy from a durable, lightweight and hypoallergenic polymer material made to hold its shape, even in high temperatures. The GTGlass features silicone nose pads with a wire core skeleton that are made to grip and hold. Silicone pads also wrap around the ear for additional comfort and grip. A custom retainer strap comes with each frame for an extra secure fit for off-road runs and added reflective detailing for night runs. The lenses are crafted of a Divel, Italian-made, CR-39 polarized lens that blocks 100% of UVA/UVB rays and prevents road glare, in addition to an extra anti-reflective coating to counteract any reflection coming from the eye. Every pair of GTGlasses are delivered in an impact-resistant molded carry case wrapped in recycled PET fabric with a carry clip and waterproof zipper.
