The retail-centric Health & Fitness Business show has now opened its registration, at the same time unveiling a new website with more information and industry news, also supplemented by news from SNEWS®.
In addition to registration kicking in this week, other events, sponsorships and exhibitors are lining up to help make the 2007 edition the best yet.
"We are working hard to make this year's show one filled with more energy and more networking than ever before," said Richard Kelly, show marketing manager. "Our new website is just one way we want to make our attendees' and exhibitors' lives easier with quicker links to what they need, as well as other industry news to keep them better informed.
"Add to that the return of the popular SNEWS® charity golf scramble to benefit Augie's Quest," Kelly added, "and we fully expect the show to be a format that will entertain, educate as well as promote doing great business and good deeds."
To be one of the first to register, go to www.healthandfitnessbiz.com and click on "Attendee Register" in the upper right or click here. Just launched, the new website will begin filling with additional news and information, as well as schedules and planners, in the next few weeks.
Exhibitor lists, floor plan and sponsors
Filling in quickly, the floor plan as it stands as of early April is already live. Click here to see that. One returnee already on the plan is True Fitness.
Meanwhile, sponsors so far include Diamondback, Keys, Lamar and SportsArt. SNEWS® is again the exclusive media sponsor and will hold court in the new Community Hub and Media Center of the show where all attendees and exhibitors will be able to kick back and rest their feet, swap news and stories, grab a cuppa joe or get found if they are lost.
Come out swinging -- with your golf club, that is -- all to raise money to fight ALS
Already plans are being laid for the second annual Golf Scramble, organized by SNEWS®, the Health & Fitness Business Show, and Accufitness. Save the date -- Aug. 1, the day before the show opens -- and plan your arrival in Denver or completion of booth setup or any meetings by mid-day to be able to play a round with other retailers and vendors on a nearby course.
This year's scramble will benefit Augie's Quest, the arm of the MDA founded by Life Fitness founder Augie Nieto that raises funds to find a cure for ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. Money raised will go to Augie's Quest (www.augiesquest.org) in the names of both Nieto, now the chairman of Octane Fitness who was diagnosed with ALS in March 2005, and Dennis "OD" O'Donnell, a long-time industry rep who was diagnosed about a year earlier. Sponsorships are still available.
Location and other details will be announced over the next few weeks. Meanwhile, just make sure you arrive in time to jump in. If you want to be sure to get on the email list for updates, signup, or inquire about sponsorships, go to firstname.lastname@example.org.
More news to come
Over the next few weeks, show management and SNEWS® will announce other speakers and panel topics, new exhibitors and other news. As media sponsor, SNEWS® will publish show information on a regular basis; you can always check our Trade Show News by clicking here for past stories and updates about the 2007 event, as well as past shows.
