Paddlesport Publishing Inc. (PPI), publishers of Paddler, Paddle Dealer and The Drake magazines, have signed an agreement to purchase the assets of Kayak magazine, with plans to publish its newest title twice yearly in the spring and fall. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Kayak is a magazine devoted to whitewater pursuits and is aimed chiefly at the 16- to 32-year-old demographic.
