Ever vigilant against knock-off artists, Columbia Sportswear filed suit Oct. 12 against New York-based Ben Elias Industries and Pennsylvania-based CBJ Ltd., accusing both of selling counterfeit Columbia-labeled jackets.

Ever vigilant against knock-off artists, Columbia Sportswear filed suit Oct. 12 against New York-based Ben Elias Industries and Pennsylvania-based CBJ Ltd., accusing both of selling counterfeit Columbia-labeled jackets. Columbia is asking for $1 million or three times the companies' profits, whichever is higher.
