Asheville, NC (June 29, 2018) - The Outdoor Gear Builders of WNC - a 30+ brand strong collective - are storming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market this year with record high numbers. Twelve brands, including Eagles Nest Outfitters, Astral, Recover Brands and Blue Ridge Chair Works, will represent the North Carolina-based companies and showcase their brand new gear for Spring 2019.
The Outdoor Gear Builders formed in 2012 with a goal to unite the awesome outdoor gear manufacturers that all call Western North Carolina home. Since then, they’ve expanded to outfitters and partners as well, all with an aim to grow the region’s outdoor industry together. Aside from hosting an annual festival - the Get In Gear Festival - the crew try to highlight the region with fundraisers, events and leading by example. Farm to Feet is excited to launch their collaboration sock with Jennifer Pharr Davis. The sock will be called “Blue Ridge” after Jen’s company name and the beautiful mountains that the AT traverses thru in NC. It will be a part of our technical hiker AT collection.

Sylvan Sport: No booth.
Sylvan Sport will be attending Outdoor Retailer to feature the Sylvan SportGo and GoEasy, their ultra-light adventure trailers.
The Outdoor Gear Builders will also be collectively hosting a Happy Hour on Day 3 (July 25th) from 4pm - 6pm that’s all about raising money for outdoor recreation in WNC. $5 will get you some delicious Sierra Nevada brews poured into your own Recover Brands Stainless Steel Pint – and maybe a high five or two and the chance to win some swag. The Happy Hour will take place at Recover Brand’s booth VO10-SL in the Venture Out area.
