In one of the most highly coveted international outdoor product design competitions, NEMO Equipment, Inc., an award-winning outdoor gear manufacturer focused on shifting the way people enjoy and interact in the outdoors, was recognized with the OutDoor Industry Award 2017 for its Helio™ LX Pressure Shower. During an intensive two-day process, experts from the worlds of retail and industry associations, trade journalists, designers and outdoor athletes worked hard to select the 38 award-winning products from over 330 submitted.

About Helio™ LX

The award-winning Helio™ Pressure Shower revolutionized the way we shower, do dishes and clean gear; it’s a multitool for the adventure quiver. Helio™ LX expands on this with a larger, 22 L welded fabric water tank pressurized by NEMO’s patent-pending foot pump; NO HANGING REQUIRED. Fill with water, set on the ground, warm in the sun, then step on the pump to pressurize. Pumping occasionally while showering maintains 7-10 minutes of steady water pressure via a 10 ft. hose.
