[Dover, NH] - NEMO Equipment, Inc., an award-winning outdoor gear manufacturer focused on shifting the way people enjoy and interact in the outdoors, has recruited Kate Paine as its Senior Marketing Director. As NEMO enters its 16th year and branches into new product categories, the brand looks to grow its marketing presence, creating a cohesive, well-told story across multiple platforms.
Kate will oversee and direct all marketing and communications, brand strategy, and creative.
She will work on refining brand expression, redesigning the website, and building in-house content creation capabilities as NEMO announces new product lines and series for 2018. Kate will also be a key player in driving NEMO’s sustainability strategy and increasingly giving voice to the values and socially conscious commitments of the brand.
Kate comes to the position with an extensive marketing background, primarily in the food & beverage industries. Most recently, she was at Ben & Jerry’s, overseeing both product launch and social mission digital campaigns. Prior to that, she managed the global corporate brand for The Hershey Company and was responsible for global implementation of the brand strategy, architecture and visual identity for the 120-year-old company. She also founded and operated a design and consulting company with a focus on brand development and go-to-market strategy.
