LifeSaver Unveils New Liberty Bottle

New portable water filtration option is most versatile on the market.
Publish date:

LifeSaver®, a UK-based manufacturer of portable and reusable water filtration systems, is thrilled to introduce the Liberty™, the world’s first and only water filter bottle and inline pump filter combined. The Liberty’s patented dual functionality makes it the most versatile water filter on the market – a convenient option for outdoor adventure of all kinds.

The LifeSaver Liberty bottle is a lightweight, compact option that turns dirty water into the cleanest, safest drinking water possible. Independently tested to exceed NSF/ANSI P231* and WHO2011 “highly protective tier” drinking water standards, the Liberty’s ultrafiltration cartridge effectively removes 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of microbial cysts such as giardia or cryptosporidium, and unlike most filters on the market, 99.999% of viruses. The Liberty’s design makes it a cinch to use – simply scoop water directly into the base, pump twice, unscrew the lid and turn the valve to release clean, safe drinking water. In addition, the Liberty comes with a 5-foot scavenger hose that allows users to pump and filter clean water from the source into additional containers.

The Liberty bottle will safely filter up to 530 gallons of water with a fast flow rate of .32 gallons/minute. FailSafe technology ensures that water cannot pass through once the filter membranes are blocked. At that point, simply replace the filter cartridge and continue using. A replaceable Activated Carbon Disc removes chlorine and odors for a more pleasurable drinking experience. The bottle holds up to 13.5 oz. of clean, filtered water and weighs just 24 oz. MSRP: $99.99

“The Liberty’s compact size and versatility make it the perfect fit for a range of users, from backpackers, campers and overlanders to survivalists and adventure travelers,” says Wesley Clarke-Sullivan, LifeSaver’s Product Manager. “LifeSaver got its start in the humanitarian realm and we’re incredibly proud of that continuing work, but also thrilled to be able to branch out and offer a new product for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds.”

About LifeSaver:

Founded in the UK in 2007, LifeSaver came to life following back-to-back natural disasters: the Indian Ocean Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. Inventor Michael Pritchard felt compelled to address the resulting need for access to clean drinking water. The first LifeSaver prototype was developed in Pritchard’s garage, and became the world’s first portable water filter capable of removing the smallest known waterborne viruses. Since that time, LifeSaver has established itself as an effective and long-lasting solution to drinking water issues in the humanitarian and military sectors, as well as for outdoor enthusiasts.
