Greenrep.org Expands Green Sales with 5% Incentives
--Green Agency with specific distribution for sustainable-minded manufactures and retailers
Johnson, Vermont (7/31/09) – Greenrep.org – the first all-industry Green Sales Agency is growing the business of green-minded manufacturers. Greenrep.org is proud to announce the addition of two strong brands, Revo Sunglasses and Green Label Organic. Greenrep.org is a sales agency dedicated to selling green products and advancing green initiatives in the surf, skate, snow, and outdoor industries. As a full resource rep agency for Green oriented manufactures, greenrep.org is making its mark across specialty industries.
Greenrep.org donates 5% of all profits to green organizations and educational sources. The mission behind this contribution is to build a business protocol that reflects the same values their client's share.
The first of their new clients is Revo Sunglasses. Revo, unlike that of any competitors, offers a highly unique RE-USE program. Revo Polarcast Technology protects your eyes while being a better product for the environment. The Revo RE- USE frame components are made form 100% recycled pre-consumer polymer resins. This means highest quality products with far less impact on the environment.
In 1985, Revo began as a small sunglasses brand with a big idea: NASA technology was just as suited for sunglasses as it was for space shuttles. The idea proved revolutionary, as Revo created the most advanced polarized sunglasses on Earth. Today, Revo continues to build on a rich tradition of innovation with Revo Polarcast Technology. Revo has also partnered with adventure-based philanthropists Jimmy Chin and Alexandra Cousteau. The results ensure rigorous field testing, as Revo continues its mission of creating the clearest and most advanced polarized sunglasses in the world.
Both ambassadors Chin and Cousteau advocate gentler practices on the world. Chin is world-class explorer, mountaineer, photographer and instructor to the Khumbu Climbing School in Nepal. Cousteau hales from a long lineage of water and oceanic conservationism- she carries on her family legacy thru Blue Planet and Blue Legacy programs. She was added to National Geographic's “Emerging Explorers†Class of 2008.
The next client addition is Green Label Organic. Green Label Organic makes organic T-shirts with positive messaging. They give back a portion of each month's profits to Green causes. Green Label Organic, is a family owned and operated business located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They have been making sustainable t- shirts for years as a way of delivering important messages about the environment. They offer a colorful collection of 100% certified organic ring spun cotton T-shirts and tops. The super-soft, low impact garment dyed organic T-shirts are made in the USA. Each piece is artfully designed to deliver fun and positive messages about the environment, fair trade, sustainability, and issues that are integral to their mission.
This month the profits will go to the Organic Center http://www.organic-center.org. “From the outset it has been a part of our mission at Green Label Organic to help educate and inform people about the importance of organic farming methods and practices. The Organic Center is a dedicated advocate for all things organic,†explain founders Rain and George Lipson.
Tee Shirt Fact: It takes approximately 1/3 of a pound of pesticides, herbicides, and defoliants to grow enough cotton to make just one conventional cotton T-shirt. Mission-Respect Labor, Respect the Planet, Respect Yourself
With the addition of Green Label Organic, and Revo Sunglasses to the already well-rounded client base of Helly Hansen and Gramicci, greenrep.org will be able to continue to increase their donations to non-profit “eco†organizations.
“I believe Global warming is real, this is RIGHT NOW. None of us can be perfectly green, but we all need to step it up. Not one of the companies I represent is perfectly green, but they all recognize the righteousness of the green movement and are doing their best to make their products more sustainable, more eco-friendly and to raise awareness. Take a peek in a trash can at a rest area, sports event or gas station and you will be floored to see how many easily recyclable pieces of waste are in there (then take an honest look at home too!). What a shame. We can all do more.†explains founder Daniel Clayton.
