Bozeman, Mont.— Duckworth, the Montana-based wool apparel company that pioneered its proprietary “sheep to shelf” wool supply chain using source-verified single-origin wool, manufactured 100 percent in the USA,appoints seasoned product development veteran Don Rogers as president.
Rogers, a lifelong wool fan, is enthusiastic about the opportunity.
“Duckworth is a unique and special company in the active lifestyle industry, and I feel my entire career path has prepared me to lead the brand to new summits,” Rogers said. “We have a top-class team, an accomplished board, and an amazing partner in the Helle family, who grows the wool used exclusively in Duckworth clothing. We will continue to work together to supply our customers with world class Rambouillet Merino-based product, made in the USA.”
Rogers’ notable career began in product development with leading fashion, tactical, and outdoor brands, including Benetton, Propper, Caterpillar, and LL Bean. He brings strong and deep experience in product development and garment production that will allow Duckworth to continue to deliver consistently high-quality garments.
Duckworth is pleased to have an industry professional with Don Roger’s background to help lead the company’s production forward.
Duckworth is a Montana source-verified wool company that uses 100% Helle Rambouillet Merino wool, processed and built 100% in the USA. Duckworth makes its own goods from its own Helle Rambouillet Merino, it does not source it. This is increasingly important as wool now travels farther than ever before it meets your body. Duckworth wool fibers travel from Montana to the Carolinas (once a world powerhouse for textiles) for spinning, knitting and sewing to strict standards, creating an impeccable final product. At Duckworth, knowing and using what’s in our own backyard is what really counts. Resurrecting the lost art and craft of American wool is our objective. #SheeptoShelf www.duckworthco.com
