UAC forecasters issue avalanche warnings and advisories daily, highlighting when conditions are especially hazardous or unusual. This information is crucial not only for skiers and snowboarders, but for snowshoers, cross-country skiers, snowmobilers, hunters, hikers, Boy Scout troops and anyone else who gets after it in Utah's mountains.

Because of rising costs and increased demand on services, the UAC is working to raise $36,000 to offset budget shortfalls for 2009/2010.
