Cotopaxi Announces New VP of Design, Evie Moe

Leading outdoors and adventure brand hires experienced industry director, leading design teams across multiple categories

Salt Lake City, UT, April 30, 2019 - Cotopaxi, a Certified B Corp that creates outdoor products and events, named industry veteran Evie Moe as new VP of Design. Moe comes to Cotopaxi with 17 years of experience in the apparel industry, having held multiple positions in categories ranging from swimwear to lifestyle.

Moe worked most recently at sportswear giant New Balance, where she was their Apparel Design Director. Moe led the global design team for men’s and women’s performance and lifestyle categories, where her teams saw significant year on year growth.

Moe’s wealth of experience will be a boon to Cotopaxi’s design team, given that she’s led many high profile, successful partnerships during her time in the industry. To whit, in her 7.5 years, Moe led partnerships with Heidi Klum for both New Balance and J.Crew. She also completed the 2016 Irish Olympic federation product, and the apparel creative for New Balance’s partnership with New York Road Runners, and the TCS New York City Marathon.

Cotopaxi’s unique design program and aesthetic has huge appeal to younger, outdoors-focused adventurers and urbanites, and utilizes industry leading standards in sustainability and sourcing for apparel and gear that not only look good, but do good and give back.
