Fair Trade Certified and eco-friendly styles for the real woman

Reno, NV – June 5, 2019 – Family owned and operated, sustainable women’s clothing company, Aventura, is introducing a spring collection that is jam packed with fresh styles designed for living in all day, every day. Since Spring 2018, Aventura has been committed to working with Fair Trade Certified™ factories to support sustainable livelihoods for factory workers. Forty-five percent of the Spring ‘20 collection will be Fair Trade and seventy-seven percent will be made from eco-friendly or low-impact fabrics.

The colors and styles in this collection are inspired by those moments the Aventura woman takes for herself, whether it’s strolling through the local flower market, basking in the sunshine on a warm summer’s day or just slowing down to enjoy the little things life has to offer. New for Spring ’20, Aventura is introducing Core Capsule, a collection of Aventura’s best-selling styles and new everyday basics that will deliver in January and easily mix and match with Aventura’s other spring styles.

Ninety one percent of the Core Capsule collection uses eco-friendly or sustainable fabrics. This collection, which has a January delivery date, will allow retailers to get Aventura’s number one selling Arden collection and popular Carrick Dress in early for the spring selling season. Additionally, the collection includes new everyday basics like the Basis Sweetheart Tee, the Elbow Sleeve and Henley and Fair Trade Certified active favorites like the Kya Skort, Rhythm Hiker and Rhythm Crop Pant that are made from a super soft recycled polyester fabric with great stretch.

Fair Trade Certified, the Russo Pop-over ($69) is a 100% organic cotton, crinkle yarn-dye top with tabbed roll up sleeves and an inverted pleat in the back. It’s lightweight for summer wear and pairs well with the Tencel® Tristan Jogger ($85). Both the organic cotton Nomad Short ($55) and Fair Trade Adrift Pant ($79) have awning stripes with softened colors and include Aventura’s ‘Innie or Outie’ feature that allows the wearer to pull the drawstring to the inside for a flat waistband look or to the outside for a hang down tie.

Russo Pop-over Temple Short Adrift Pant

A true testament to Aventura’s commitment to creating clothing with conscious origins, the Lenz Dress and Temple Short are both made in Fair Trade Certified factories from eco-friendly fabrics. Made from organic cotton and recycled polyester, the Lenz Dress ($75) has a built-in shelf bra and a fitted bodice, making it a roam-worthy piece for the adventurer’s wardrobe. Hemp is hot right now, and the Temple Short ($69) will keep the Aventura woman looking and feeling cool all summer long. A combo of hemp and recycled polyester give these shorts a linen-like look and feel without all the wrinkles! Pair with the Fair Trade Certified, organic cotton blended Forlani Top ($56) that has feminine embroidery details with decorative seed beads.

“Our retailers spoke, and we listened,” states Tom Williamson, Aventura VP of Sales and Marketing. “This Spring ’20 collection embodies the spirit of the Aventura woman and delivers a good mixture of old favorites and new styles. And with the Core Capsule offering, our retailers can stock their shelves early with pieces that will mix and match throughout the season.”
