| SGMA Spring Market '07: Some intriguing new companies help round out the floor
Jun 20, 2007 As we discussed last week, the traffic may not have been strong or what the SGMA had hoped for at its first Spring Market June 11-13, but new companies found a showcase they wouldn't have at many shows, if at all. Read Story | Comment on this story | Go to all SGMA |

| SGMA Spring Market '07: A gracious "A" for effort; fitness mostly no-show
Jun 15, 2007 SGMA President Tom Cove can't be faulted for lack of presence. On the nail-biting opening morning of the first SGMA Spring Market, he was front-and-center at the entrance announcing, "Please come in and do lots of business." As attendees streamed past him, he continued to press the flesh, greeting, chatting and shaking hands. If there'd been a baby, we bet he would have kissed it. | The Super Show fades to dark with slooooooow show
Jan 30, 2006 Both sides of the aisles at the last-ever Super Show were so empty that the atmosphere elicited head-shaking about the dismal end that the once behemoth and spectacular event had come to. Consider this: The Super Show, begun 21 years ago, was once the second-largest trade show in the United States, covering 2.2 million or so square feet of space in Atlanta, Ga., with an attendance that topped 100,000. From the show revenues, show owner SGMA reported in the mid-90s that it gave more than $4 million in grants in 1994 alone to a variety of sports interests. | The Super Show: Say good-night Gracie
Jan 23, 2006 Although only the first of three days of the last-ever Super Show was complete, attendees and exhibitors were already talking about how the show's demise, as well as the mere shadow of its former self it now was, was a pity. In a noon "State of the Industry" luncheon address by SGMA President Tom Cove, he also took a moment to eulogize the end of the show. Read Story | Comment on this story | Go to all SGMA |

| The Super Show: Time to move on, the industry says, but where?
Jan 9, 2006 Whether the sporting goods trade show world will be a better place after the feeble flickering flame of The Super Show is snuffed out at the end of this month is yet to be seen, although most say it was high time to recognize market changes and move on. | SGMA's future show strategy ousts The Super Show
Jan 3, 2006 In a not-truly-surprising announcement, the SGMA has said this month's 21st Super Show – an event on which the association had hung its hat for years but one that recently had lost its shine – will be its last. At the same time, the group revealed a post-Super Show plan starting in 2007 that includes two shows... Read Story | Comment on this story | Go to all SGMA |

Fitnex E55SG Elliptical Sep 14, 2011 So many ellipticals can be large and pricy, and the though the smaller ones may have a lower price tag, what they give up to get there makes for a more wobbly ride that’s not as much fun. The Fitnex E55SG elliptical manages to be rather petite but still can hold its own when a user pushes it hard. Read Review | Comment on this review | Go to all Product Reviews |
