With education being high on the list for fitness professionals, the Club Industry East show can offer a venue for taking seminars and taking a peek at an exhibit hall. Focused on the East Coast, the show in late May has more than 85 sessions in various tracks. Plus, Nancy Snyderman, chief medical officer for NBC News, is the keynote speaker on May 28.

With a show that seemed to have few if any products that created a buzz in the aisles, the 2006 Club Industry show still managed to have enough aisles and enough people in them to elicit positive feedback from both exhibitors and attendees.

With the steam inside the Hilton New York Hotel just north of Radio City Music Hall matching the 90-plus degree days outside, Club Industry East proved to be a red-hot show as more than 3,000 attendees took in the several floors of exhibits, seminars and panels, according to preliminary numbers from show management.
