The Future Leadership Academy is a six-month program to train and inspire future outdoor industry leaders. Each year since 2016, the academy has helped prepare more than 30 participants to assume industry leadership positions in the years ahead.
Academy participants receive personal and professional development opportunities, including education about important outdoor industry issues, leadership training, and mentoring from industry veterans.
The Future Leadership Academy honors the memory of Skip Yowell, co-founder of Jansport, who died in 2015.
