Half-Moon Outfitters raised $1600 for Lake Conestee Nature Park in it's first ever trail race, The Foothills Drifter 6K.

On January 30th, in Greenville, SC, 94 runners participated in the First Annual Foothills Drifter 6K at Lake Conestee Nature Park. The number of participants was exciting, as the weather was sleet, rain and a balmy 34 degrees with the temperature dropping throughout the morning. Despite the weather, the runners had a wonderful time and enjoyed the race course.

Eric Guth, 28, was the overall winner at 22:46 and Meagan Weis, 32, was the women's winner in 25.27.

This is the first of two trail races put on by Half-Moon Outfitters for Spring 2010. The trail races have been exceptional and more are planned for the near future.

The race was outstanding and could only have been possible with the help from major sponsors Montrail, Mountain Hardwear, Camelbak, Yakima, Timex, Fairway Subaru, Whole Foods Market, Gu, Sea to Summit, Reform Bode and Native Eyewear.
