Summer Adventure Made Easy
Kick-start a Fun Summer on National Trails Day®

Golden, Colorado—Finding time to plan a unique weekend adventure is often the biggest barrier to enjoying a weekend in the great outdoors, but American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day makes it easy to kick-start a summer filled with adventures. On June 4, 2016, thousands of National Trails Day activities will take place all across the nation and all you have to do is pick your choice of adventure.

The perfect pre-planned National Trails Day adventure is incredibly simple to find. Go to NationalTrailsDay.AmericanHiking.org/ntd-events and find an event on the interactive map or search the database by the type of activity. National Trails Day activities include hikes, bike rides, trail runs, horseback rides, paddle trips, volunteer projects, and much more. In a matter of minutes anyone can find an event to fit their interests and most events are free to attend.

Hundreds of thousands of individuals, of all ages and walks of life, will seize the opportunity to get outside and participate in an outdoor adventure planned by local outdoor clubs, conservation organizations, and parks. Don’t be left on the couch this summer. Discover an adventure right in your own backyard.
