Southeast, USA - What a truly eventful year 2015 has been for Mountain High Outfitters and Christopher Groom, Owner and Founder. Three of its stores were relocated, expanded and remodeled, one new store was opened and one is close to being under construction.

In the beginning of September the store at Bridge Street TownCentre in Huntsville, AL, was relocated to a larger and more modernized space in the center.

In mid-September the second Atlanta location opened in the alluring development by Jamestown Properties, Ponce City Market. It is in an urban setting on the well-known Beltline, which won the 2015 Best Greenway at Interbike.

The next two major changes occurred in the Birmingham market. First, was the expansion of Groom's initial location in the Riverchase Galleria Mall in Hoover, AL. This location has a fresh modern look and more than doubled in size. The other change was the relocation of the store in the Shops of Grand River in Leeds, AL northeast of Birmingham. MHO was in a temporary space for about a year, but moved to a permanent location. Groom says the Birmingham area has been a great community to build his business and loves the customer base MHO is able to connect with in this market.

The year will end with a bang as Mountain High begins construction on the second Huntsville, AL location in the Shops at Merchants Walk, where the first Whole Foods in this area will open in November. Huntsville is another amazing market with many active and outdoor enthusiasts who all enjoy the lifestyle brands offered by MHO.

The final project should conclude in 2015, allowing Groom to regroup and focus on planning and executing a successful 2016 with one more store slated to open in Tuscaloosa, AL in the spring.
