Osprey recalls child backpack carriers
Osprey has announced a recall for 31,000 child backpack carriers.
Some carriers have a cut in the plastic buckle on the shoulder strap, posing risks to children as they can potentially fall out of the carrier.
No accidents or injuries have been reported, according to Osprey.
The recall involves the Poco AG, Poco AG Plus and Poco AG Premium models sold between January and May 2016.
Osprey asked consumers to immediately inspect the buckles on their carriers. If one or both of the buckles is cut, stop using the carrier and contact Osprey for information for a product replacement or a full refund.
If neither of the plastic buckles is cut, it's safe to continue using the carriers.
