OutsidePR is proud to welcome two new additions to their growing team of PR professionals. Harry Benyon will be joining as an Account Manager, all the way from London, England, where he gained experience working for brands in the European outdoor industry. Following her passion and career in adventure sports, Mary Gossel joins the team as an Account Executive, hailing from OutsidePR’s very own backyard, Marin County.

Harry honed his public relations acumen with Speed Communications, immersing himself in PR and communications since graduating from Oxford Brookes University. Quickly rising through the ranks of their Sport division, Harry managed a variety of accounts as Senior Account Executive, including award-winning campaigns for adidas, Lucozade Sport and The North Face. Harry is looking to bring his experience in the running and fitness sectors of public relations to his new role at OutsidePR.

In his role as Account Manager for OutsidePR, Harry will be assisting with public relations and communications strategies for some important existing clients including, Moji, BUFF® USA, Ultimate Direction and AlterG.

Mary comes to OutsidePR after spending the past few years as a Trip Expert for Backroads Active Travel Company where she developed and led cycling expeditions. Prior to that, Mary spent time teaching alpine skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. With a background in Media Studies and Journalism from UC Berkeley and Columbia University, Mary brings a combination of communications and client relationship skills, combined with a passion for adventure and the outdoors. A former competitive swimmer and avid endurance athlete, Mary looks forward to completing her second Ironman this summer at Ironman Vineman.

Gordon Wright, president and founder of OutsidePR said, “What a delight to add young talent like Mary and Harry. Increasingly, our clients are seeking UK and European coverage, which Harry will help with immensely. Mary is one of the smartest, most avid and personable professionals that I’ve ever worked with, as the outdoor industry either knows or will learn quickly. As we continue to grow in the fitness and outdoor worlds, we’ll be relying on them to propagate our own brand of innovative and hard-working PR for our clients.”
