DRIGGS, IDGarage Grown Gear’s founder and CEO, Amy Hatch, was recently featured on the Intrepid Entrepreneur podcast. The podcast is produced by Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, who is the founder and CEO of Verde Brand Communications.

“After listening to Intrepid Entrepreneur, I contacted Kristin to tell her how much her podcast resonated with me and to thank her for offering such a great resource” says Hatch. “Before I knew it, we were having a lively conversation about business, startups, gear, adventures, failures and successes.”

The podcast episode is titled “GarageGrownGear.com: the Outdoor Entrepreneur’s Shangri La.” In it, Hatch shares why she launched a platform for early-stage gear manufacturers and her big picture vision for the business. She also talks about how starting a business has been a vehicle for huge personal transformation.

“The moment I learned about GarageGrownGear.com, I felt compelled to support it,” says Carpenter-Ogden. “The outdoor active lifestyle markets were shaped - and continue to be built by - the tenacity and vision of our entrepreneurs. Our founders power our innovation and GarageGrownGear.com has created an important bridge for start ups to grow through connection with the end consumer.”

The Intrepid Entrepreneur is celebrating one year as the only podcast featuring visionary entrepreneurs working in the outdoor active lifestyle industries. The podcast is available on iTunes and stitcher.com.
