ENO and BANGS Shoes Team Up for a One-of-a-Kind Video Contest #NoSpendVentureWeekend


What do the world’s best hammocks, adventure-inspired shoes, and spending a weekend money-free have in common? A chance to win heaps of epic prizes! Industry leading Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) and college favorite BANGS Shoes have teamed up to host the video contest of the year, rewarding teams of up to three the chance to win huge prize packages including ENO’s Roadie Hammock Stand, hammocks, BANGS shoes and more.

The #NoSpendVentureWeekend Contest will require teams to complete a list of assigned challenges that fit into four categories (such as ‘Outdoor Adventure’ and ‘Give-Back Adventure’) over 48 hours without spending any money – not even $1 for gas. The tasks have to be completed within a 2-day window, and the adventure has to be compiled into a 2-5 minute video detailing the experience. According to BANGS CEO and Founder, the contest was developed to emphasize that adventure is a mindset and an inclusive experience.

“There’s so much on social media that makes adventure look extravagant and out of reach,” notes Davis. “ENO and BANGS came together to show that adventure is everywhere. You don’t even have to spend a dime, you just have to be open to discovering new experiences.”

Applications for the contest will open Wednesday, March 29 at 8pm EST and run through April 10th at 8pm EST and will include written and video elements. Teams will be announced April 12th and competitors will be able to choose to complete the challenge over the weekends of April 15th and 16th, or April 22nd and 23rd.
