From Beer to Booze: PMI’s STANLEY Brand Expands Spirits Collection for Spring 2016

SEATTLE, WA (August 3, 2015) – For over 100 years PMI’s STANLEY brand has been bringing people together with food and beverage gear that make eating and drinking outdoors more enjoyable. Now the brand is extending the campsite fun to ‘after hours’ with new additions to their spirits collection. Believing in the simple pleasure of celebrating with friends after a big day outside, the STANLEY brand is introducing one of their largest product launches to date. As more people look to bring their craft beers and small batch spirits with them to the great outdoors, the STANLEY brand is poised with the perfect gear.

Micro movements having major impact

According to Brewers Association, the number of US craft microbreweries increased almost 30% in 2014, and the overall craft beer market is approximately $19.6 billion. Likewise, the number of artisan distilleries in the US has gone from just 50 in 2005 to more than 600 in 2013, as reported by the American Distilling Institute.

The appropriately named Adventure Happy Hour System has everything necessary for mixing the best cocktails at camp all in one multi-piece, nesting system. This game changer includes a strainer lid, double wall steel rocks glasses, citrus reamer, and jigger cap. It is available in two sizes, one with 4 rocks glasses and the other with 2 rocks glasses. The largest one includes 7 pieces. MSRP $35 / $50.

Following the successful launch of the Classic Vacuum Growler (64 oz.) last season, the STANLEY brand is adding more options for beer fans. For those who prefer a smaller portion, the STANLEY Vacuum Grumbler has the same great features – easy one hand pouring, legendary thermal performance, and durability – just in a 32-ounce size. This size is ideal for those who want to do beer tastings or for those who simply want to keep their evening mellow. This Grumbler keeps cold for 14 hours. Also new for spring 2016, are the Stanley single-wall Growler and Grumbler options that feature the collection’s unique one hand pouring and legendary durability, just in a single-wall option. Single wall is ideal for those who have access to refrigeration and don’t require vacuum insulation. The Adventure Steel Growler and Grumbler are also both dishwasher safe like the entire collection. Building on the brand’s already popular Vacuum Pints and Stacking Steel tumblers, the new Adventure Stacking Vacuum Pint (16 oz) offers beer fans an infinitely stacking pint to save space in a pack or in the cupboard. Featuring Stanley’s timeless style and legendary performance, these vacuum insulated pints keep beer deliciously cold for 4 hours. MSRP $15.
