Beachbody Performance Named Official Sports Nutrition Supplement of the IRONMAN North America Series


Beachbody®, one of the world’s leading providers of fitness programs and nutrition products, announced today it has signed an agreement for Beachbody Performance to become the Official Sports Nutrition Supplement of the IRONMAN® North American Series beginning in 2016.

The Beachbody Performance Nutrition line was developed by Harvard-trained scientists led by Nima Alamdari, PhD, an exercise physiology and nutrition scientist and Beachbody’s Executive Director of Scientific Affairs. Beachbody Performance Energize, a pre-workout formula designed with key ingredients to help sustain energy and reduce training-induced muscle acidosis and fatigue.

Beachbody Performance Recover, a post-workout recovery protein shake that helps jump start the recovery process after training and is formulated with key ingredients scientifically shown to help reduce training-induced muscle soreness and speed muscle strength recovery from intense training sessions.

Beachbody Performance Recharge, a unique nighttime formula that reduces muscle breakdown while supporting overnight muscle recovery and repair and has key ingredients scientifically shown to help improve recovery in both endurance and resistance training situations and reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

All of the formulas are NSF-certified for Sport® which confirms that products do not contain any of the 180+ substances banned by major athletic organizations and confirms that the contents of the supplement match what is printed on the label. Furthermore, Beachbody Performance products do not contain any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives.
