Weight lifting and training gloves are a pretty simple age-old creation. Nike has tried to make the simple little glove more than that with its Power WebCage Training Glove (men's only).
Savvy fitness dealers who traveled beyond the Health & Fitness Business show to peruse the Interbike trade show floor saw more than bikes. There were scores of accessory items that, for many, could make a lot of sense to carry, from indoor cycling items to no-size softgoods and cool bottles.
Most altimeter watches are too bulky to fit a woman's small wrist, but the Highgear Axio Mini is petite, attractive and absolutely stuffed with all the electronic features a techno-geek desires.
A smaller show meant three things when it came to accessory exhibitors: Fewer accessory brands made the trek to the Health & Fitness Business Show; if they did, they pared back on booth size; and just like with equipment brands, for the most part, it wasn’t the year to reveal everything you had in your deck of innovation. That’s not to say there weren’t a few highlights and new products to pique the interest.
