XTERRA WETSUITS Partnering with World-Renowned Sports Photographer TIM TADDER for Upcoming Shoot!


SAN DIEGO, CA – Best-selling triathlon wetsuit brand XTERRA WETSUITS announced an agreement today for an upcoming photo shoot with world-renowned photographer TIM TADDER. The game-changing images that XTERRA WETSUITS and TADDER produced in 2010 altered the visual landscape of wetsuit marketing and were a driving force behind XTERRA WETSUITS’ Web Award-winning homepage (Best Sports Website, Web Marketing Association 2010). 

Three-time Ironman Champion Chris Lieto (pictured) headlines a talent pool loaded with XTERRA WETSUITS-sponsored triathletes who are ready to grace the lens and redefine triathlon imagery. “With Tim’s input and our pool of sponsored triathletes, we are able to bring together a really exciting group,” said XTERRA WETSUITS co-owner, Glynn Turquand. “The XTERRA WETSUITS ethos is as much an experiential attitude of determination and accomplishment as it is about active participation, and our brand imagery needs to inspire athletes to both of those ends.”

XTERRA WETSUITS’ internal talent is also being harnessed to refresh the brand’s image. New Director of Marketing John Murn – formerly of ad giant Leo Burnett – has played a leading role in planning the shoot. Murn and TIM TADDER have worked closely to develop a framework for producing a series of photos that will expand and explore iconic triathlon imagery while further distinguishing XTERRA WETSUITS’ market-leading brand position. TIM TADDER, who has produced brand-defining photos for such brands as Gatorade and Adidas, would only disclose that he is excited to apply “some new tricks” that will highlight XTERRA WETSUITS as being unique among triathlon wetsuit brands.

The new visuals will again be employed in leading a website redesign for XTERRA WETSUITS, with the goal of elevating the brand’s web presence up to and beyond its award-winning stature of 2010. Dates and locations of the shoot(s) and website redesign have not been disclosed.
