West End, NC– Longworth Industries, parent company of Polarmax, XGO and PMX technical base layers, is proud to welcome X Games ski cross athlete and American Ski Cross Association founding member Biche Rudigoz to the Polarmax Pro Staff.

Ketchum, ID based Rudigoz has been on skis since the age of 2. The son of a former U.S. Ski Team coach, Rudigoz has been on the snow for a majority of his life. As a World Cup series racer, and 2010 Winter X Games competitor, he endures countless hours of training, competition and exposure to harsh winter conditions, and Rudigoz understands the importance of warmth, breathability, and wicking performance in a base layer.

“Polarmax base layers are a must-have on the racecourse,” says Rudigoz. “Long days of training outdoors takes a toll on the body. Whether standing at the starting gate or hammering on course, staying warm and dry is essential. Polarmax does just that, allowing me to focus on the task at hand.” Rudigoz continued, “I also really like that they’re environmentally conscious, and all their products are made in the USA.”

“Biche is the perfect addition to the Pro Staff,” said Dean Bassett, Marketing Director at Polarmax. “His drive, skill and passion are unmatched, and he’ll play a significant role in helping us further establish Polarmax within the core ski community. We look forward to following his career and watching him succeed,” Bassett continued.

The Polarmax Pro Staff taps into the real life, end-user experience of core athletes and outdoor experts, to assist with R&D, create opportunities in new markets, and reinforce the superior performance and high affinity for Polarmax products.
