Seattle, U.S.A. – Cascade Designs, Inc., the Seattle-based industry leader in the design and manufacture of premier outdoor equipment, is hosting the Hummingbird Happy Hour at the Cascade Designs booth on the first day of the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. The event, featuring explorer Eric Larsen, begins with “Fjord Fusion” cocktails at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4th and gives attendees a chance to meet Eric and enter to win Hummingbird adventure travel gear or a grand prize adventure travel trip to the Fjords of Norway.
Introduced by Cascade Designs in 2011, the Hummingbird collection of adventure travel gear and accessories is inspired by the travel philosophies of company co-founder and Chief Product Tester, John Burroughs, who believes that travel gear should be minimalist, versatile and reliable. The collection includes lightweight, waterproof travel bags; compact comfort essentials; and protective cases for important documents and electronics. Nearly all the products in the line are manufactured in the company’s Seattle, U.S.A. headquarters.
New to the collection for 2012 is the Hummingbird Swim Pouch, a flat, low-profile case that can be worn discreetly under clothes and submersed underwater, keeping important valuables safe and dry during travel adventures.
The Hummingbird Happy Hour event begins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4th in the Hummingbird section of the Cascade Designs booth #18027. All Outdoor Retailer Summer Market attendees are invited to attend. Only those present are eligible to win prizes.
