Wicked Good Copy Peru 2K11 Expedition Teams With Go! Towel

Wicked good news - Go! Towel to sponsor Wicked Good Copy's vacation. Or expedition. We meant expedition.

Nevada City, CA – The Wicked Good Copy Peru 2K11 Expedition (WCGP2K11E) has teamed with a key gear manufacturer for expeditionary equipment, provisions, and support. Luxe Bamboo will supply Go! Towels for the expedition’s team. Going forward WCGP2K11E will be known as G!TWCGP2K11E (Go! Towel Wicked Good Copy Peru 2K11 Expedition).

Go! Towel will supply G!TWCGP2K11E with gear, llamas, and $25,000 cash to cover travel costs.

“Uh, no,” said Go! Towel’s Ellen Leaf. “We will be providing them with Go! Towels.”

“We are excited to have Go! Towels as a G!TWCGP2K11E sponsor,” says expedition co-leader, Mike Mooers. “We will be encountering wet, rainy conditions, and Go! Towels’ technologies will allow us to remove liquids from our dermal regions, resulting in comfortable dryness. Plus they’re so wicked compact that we’ll have room in our packs to bring home tons of alpaca sweaters, ponchos, and wicked groovy Peruvian telemarker hats. Plus we didn’t really need the llamas. I can borrow my friend's. Seriously. Not for Peru, though.”

The Go! Towel is a poker chip-sized compressed 100% bamboo fiber towel that when as little as 3 tablespoons of water is added, expands to 14" X 20". The towels have a lot in common with G!TWCGP2K11E team: they are compact, lightweight, effective, 100% organic, undyed, unbleached, biodegradable, and wicked good. The towels, however, are far more absorbent and considerably lighter than the team members.

Leaf sees broader reasons for Go! Towel’s participation: “Providing towels will have a direct, positive effect on Peru-US relations. We see the towel as a means of encouraging the team to bathe. This benefits the people of Peru directly as, per my understanding, the G!TWCGP2K11E team members have the tendency to get a little ripe.”

Adds G!TWCGP2K11E team co-leader, Suzanne Hawkins, agrees: “We want to create positive relationships. When you smell like an old ham sandwich it’s hard to get those relationships started on the right foot. Now, thanks to Ellen and the Go! Towel team, our team will be able to execute successful bathing procedures. Plus we can use the towels as a coffee filter, and a certain member of our team has difficulty putting his best foot forward without his morning caffeine.”

G!TWCGP2K11E departs March 17th for Lima, and will then travel to Cusco and tour Inca ruins throughout the Sacred Valley, followed by a trip to Lake Titcaca (quit giggling). They return in early April, where they will get back to work crafting wicked good copy (or, as they say in Peru, “wicked bueno copy”) for their beloved existing clients, and soon-to-be beloved clients that are going to hire them once they get back.
