We are happy to introduce our customers to the Society's resources and we hope that they will enjoy membership benefits as much as we have.â€

• A subscription to Backpacker magazine
• Members-only discounts on merchandise such as books and gear.
• The opportunity to participate in members-only Volunteer Vacations.
A kickoff event will be held at White Sierra's booth (21031) at 1:00 PM the first day of the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show. “We'll be holding a membership drive, and handing out goodies including our Sierra Tek jackets to those that sign up, as well as those that are already American Hiking members,†said Al Whitworth.
