New Banquet Chair by Wenzel simplifies campsite mealtime, raises money for a worthy cause
Banquet Chair launches at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market with lunchtime giveaway and optional donation to Colorado Environmental Coalition
BOULDER, COLO. (For Immediate Release) – Wenzel, manufacturer of quality, affordable outdoor equipment for over 125 years, is simplifying campsite mealtime with the 2013 Wenzel Banquet Chair. To launch this convenient and innovative, folding chair, Wenzel will give away 200 Banquet Chairs this August during the Outdoor Retailer Trade Show in Salt Lake City.
To help show attendees learn more about the simplicity, portability, and convenience of the Banquet Chair, Wenzel will hand out 200 chairs (65 chairs per day) on a first-come, first-served basis for the first three days of the show, starting at 11 A.M in booth #27027. An optional donation for the Colorado Environmental Coalition will be accepted from anyone wishing to support this worthy cause.
Setting Wenzel’s folding Banquet Chair apart from the rest is an innovative tray located at the end of the right arm. This tray is sized just right to give campers a place to rest their plate, other than their lap. And when dinner is over, the Banquet chair’s patent pending design allows it to fold up, tray and all, for easy storage and transport.
“The Banquet Chair will soon become a campsite favorite,” said Sue Timbo, Marketing Director for Wenzel. “This chair’s unique design and comfortable construction will make it easier than ever to enjoy meals while camping. And since we’re based in Colorado and actively involved in preserving the wilderness in which we play, teaming up with the Colorado Environmental Coalition was a great way for us to get people involved in supporting such a great cause.”
Far more comfortable than the traditional picnic table, the Banquet Chair is a welcome addition to any campsite, picnic, or backyard BBQ. Available in two sizes and three colors, the Wenzel Banquet Chair goes anywhere, sets up quickly, and is a perfect mealtime companion.
The Colorado Environmental Coalition (CEC) inspires thousands of organizations and individuals who care deeply about Colorado. Involved in a variety of issues that span the state, the CEC works to protect public lands, ensure the quality of the water Coloradoans drink, preserve wildlife habitat and opportunities for recreation, advocate for good transportation and growth practices, promote common sense policies in the state legislature, and provide technology resources to other non-profits.
After more than 125th years in business, Wenzel is as committed to providing quality, value-oriented outdoor equipment now as they were back in 1887. As we continue to evolve and design new products, Wenzel looks for inspiration in the natural environment around their Boulder, Colorado-based headquarters. With the iconic Flatirons in the foreground and the Continental Divide keeping everything in perspective, Colorado’s rugged and beautiful surroundings fuel a desire to make the best products to suit a wide range of needs.
