STOWE, VT. - (June 26, 2007) Chris Bernier has joined Tubbs Snowshoes as the company's new Events and Team Manager.
His responsibilities will include the planning and coordination duties for the company's successful breast cancer fund-raising event series- the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Series.
Now in its seventh year, the Romp Series features a 3 km snowshoe fun run and 5 km easy snowshoe walk and showcases the 'pink ribbon' Wilderness Series snowshoes designed specifically for women. For the upcoming season, the Romp Series will add a new location to its schedule at Mountain Creek Resort, in Vernon, NJ.
Bernier will also be in charge of coordinating Tubbs brand specific activities for Winter Trails, a national event each January focusing on introducing newcomers to the fun, healthy benefits of getting outside in the winter on cross-country skis or snowshoes.
