TrekSta Edicts Hit Retail Running

Debut trail running shoe on shelves for spring ’12

Moscow, Idaho – TrekSta, a leading manufacturer of technical outdoor footwear, is pleased to announce that the Edict – the brand's debut into the trail running category – will be hitting retail shelves in the next few weeks. After several seasons of consumer requests and feedback asking for TrekSta's NestFIT in a trail runner, Treksta debuted the Edict at the 2011 Summer Outdoor Retailer Show. Since then, the reception to the shoe has been overwhelming with retailers from across the country signing orders to stock the model.

Combining the natural fit of a barefoot shoe with the protection and support the trail demands, the TrekSta Edict is a lightweight shoe (10.9 oz) featuring sticky HyperGrip sole and exclusive NestFIT comfort technology.

• TrekSta's NestFIT technology provides a natural habitat for toes, heels, insteps an arches
• HyperGrip sole provides superior traction
• Ultralight EVA midsole provides the proper amount of cushion and support
• Triple density EVA insole supports the arch, cushions key strike zones, and strengthens your stride
• Highly breathable upper mesh keeps your feet cool and dries quickly
• Flat sole profile allows for more ground contact and better ground feel
• Thin TPU plate protects from rocks
