The North Face®, the world's premier supplier of authentic, innovative and technically advanced outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear, today announced several key changes to its EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) sales team. Fine-tuning the sales team will allow The North Face® to reinforce its efforts in the robust Italian market, while simultaneously strengthening its presence in important emerging markets.

Fabio Marangoni was recently promoted to the new position of Sales Manager for Emerging Markets and will be reporting directly to Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart, The North Face® EMEA Sales Director. Marangoni will be responsible for building business and maximizing potential in these strong, growing markets.

Also reporting directly to Schmidt-Eisenhart is Gianluca Pandolfo. As Country Manager for Italy, Pandolfo is now solely focused on Italy as a key market for The North Face®. His job duties entail planning, directing, controlling and coordinating the sales of products and services for the Italian market. Andrea de Lauso was promoted to the new position of Sales Manager for Italy, where he will report to Gianluca Pandolfo in his efforts to organize, motivate and lead the Italian sales team in order to maximize sales potential.

Due to the country's rapid growth and development and to meet the growing demand from Poland, Rafal Tyskzkiewicz has been appointed The North Face® Country Manager for Poland. In this newly created position, Tyskzkiewicz will be responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategies, and the development of the brand in Poland.

Udo Heyder, who previously served as interim Country Manager for Austria and Switzerland in addition to his role as The North Face® Country Manager for Germany, has been confirmed as Country Manager for all three countries. Working from The North Face® offices in Munich, Heyder will plan, direct and coordinate the sales of products and services for all three of these German-speaking territories.

Both Tyskzkiewicz and Heyder also report directly to Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart, The North Face® EMEA Sales Director.

“The above enhancements to our EMEA sales team allow us to strengthen our attention to our key Italian market,” commented Schmidt-Eisenhart, “while also solidly positioning the company for future growth by paying special attention to emerging markets.”
