Terramar (www.terramarsports.com) gave away $4,500 in retail products and a fabulous trip for two to the Grand Tetons during the recent Outdoor Retailer Winter Market Show held in Salt Lake City. In addition, the company gave away a trip for two to Snowbird Resort in Utah at the SIA Show held in Las Vegas.

The three lucky winners of $1500 in Terramar retail products were:
Lynn Wachtel of Champaign Surplus in Champaign, IL; Chelsie Shults of Crown Enterprises in Kalispell, MT; and Joe Prax of Prospector Outfitters in Valdez, AK.

The grand prize winner for a trip for two to the Grand Tetons was Bev Novak of Campmor in Paramus, NJ. And the winner of the trip to Snowbird is Melissa Martin of Big Five Sporting Goods in El Segundo, CA.

Terramar had outstanding OR and SIA shows—a highlight being the “marriage” of 100% pure virgin silk to 100% pure merino wool to bring attention to the company's new ThermaTX2 base layer, made with 100% pure silk on the inside and 100% pure merino wool on the outside at OR.

In addition to the thermal benefits of the 100% silk inner layer and the 100% merino wool outer layer, the uniquely layered ThermaTX2™ construction traps air—providing extra warmth with no additional bulk. The ec2® Qwik-Dri™ Silk moves moisture away from the skin to the outer wool layer where it evaporates, keeping you dry and warm.

Terramar's ec2® Qwik-Dri™ garments work on the electrostatic principle and do not rely on wicking. They create a comfortable microclimate around your body regardless of your level of exertion or the temperature outside.

ec2® Filament silk is made from individual silk strands making it lightweight, strong and luxurious. Terramar uses 100% Australian superfine merino wool which absorbs moisture, is super-soft and provides warmth even when wet.

ThermaTX2â„¢ combines silk's body-insulating ability with natural stretch, and merino wool's softness, natural wicking and warmth.
ThermaTX2â„¢ is machine washable. Suggested retail price: $65 per piece. For more information, visit www.terramarsports.com.
